Focus Exercise Video: Chest Opener
This video is one of the focus exercises for the week. Try to repeat it 2-3 times before our next class together.
Tightness through the chest can cause us to roll our shoulders forward and shift our head towards the space in front of us. This heart opening series helps us open up the front body and lubricate the shoulder joints. Oftentimes, I enjoy doing this series on the floor so don’t hesitate to omit the foam roller.
Opening the chest is especially important for people who have more hyperkyphosis.
