Focus Exercise Video SF: Elongated Squats
This video is one of the focus exercises for the week. Try to repeat it 2-3 times before our next class together.
Elongated Squats are a great movement to practice because they encourage axial elongation, dorsiflexion in the ankles, and core strength. Most important, they are very functional in helping us sit to sit down and stand up from chairs, couches, etc. During this series we will use the arms in a variety of ways to help lengthen the spine and to strengthen the back muscles.
