Learn how to make your own alignment mat! An alignment mat is a useful tool for people with scoliosis, a spinal fusion, or anyone who wants to increase their awareness of naturally occurring asymmetries. The lines on the mat help inform us as to where our body is in space. You can use an alignment mat for yoga, Pilates, or any other physical activity that uses a mat.
For today’s project you will need a mat, a permanent maker, and a straight edge and/or ruler.
